Good morning everyone, tomorrow 4th November marks the official launch of the annual local Poppy Appeal. Despite the dire weather warning we shall endeavour to maintain a presence outside the Londis Shop knowing that the village will continue to support this particular charity. We shall be manning the stand from 9.00am until 5.00pm every day until Saturday 11th November, please give your support to the volunteer collectors. A reminder that there will be a short ceremony by the flagpole on the village green at 11.00 am on Saturday 11th November to mark the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, please feel free to support the event.
