Oh no it isn’t ! Oh yes it is! Spring Pantos are BACK and they’re bringing the magic (and the mayhem!) to Rowlands Castle.
From March 22nd – 24th Curtain Up ! Productions , an amateur dramatics group who rehearse on Tuesday evenings in Rowlands Castle, are staging their very own version of Aladdin, written by their own Director, Ian Clark. Rehearsals have been hotter than Widow Twankeys steam wash, with local jokes, familiar songs, this is sure to be a show with something for all the family!
Remember , tickets are like wishes, they disappeared faster than you can say “bibbidi-bobbedi-boo!” so don’t delay.
Tickets £10 and £8 (under 18s) curtain-up-productions.sumupstore.com/page/aladdin-and-the-princesses-ball
A traditional pantomime written and directed by Ian Clarke. We are delighted to welcome several Rowlands Castle residents taking starring roles on stage, and also some of the children from South Downe Stage School. Why not come along and see if you recognise anyone!
If you’d like to come and join in the fun behind the scenes, why not try one of our rehearsals and see what we’re all about? We always welcome members over the age of 16. We aren’t just looking for people to perform on-stage – we are always keen to hear from people with technical skills such as lighting, sound or stage management. Be creative by painting scenery, making props or organising the costumes for a show. Whatever your skills, we’d love to meet you.
If you´d like to try it out please make contact, one of our society members will ensure that you receive a warm welcome.
