Dear Volunteer Litter Pickers
We had a very busy morning with 40 volunteers arriving to help with the litter pick.
Thank you to the numerous volunteers comprised of Rowlands Castle Scouts, their families, Scout Leaders and residents/families of Rowlands Castle. You all did an amazing job of picking litter in every road, lane and bridle path.
You picked 35 bags of litter which is due to be collected asap. Builders Bags were supplied by Gary Grant of Acer Skips to place all the rubbish in.
The Rowlands Castle Scouts were volunteering to add towards their badges.
Items of litter collected were:- bags, bottles, cans scraps of plastic, coffee cups, windscreen wipers and number plates, plus others.
Let us know if our speedy departure as the rain started, 12:15 left you with any bags, pickers or Hi Viz vests and we can tell you where to bring them.
And if you would like to volunteer to help at Rowland Castle Association events in the future, please contact secretary@rowlandscastle.com
Finally a huge Thank you. Rowlands Castle Association www.rowlandscastle.com _______________________________________________ Grapevine mailing list: info@rowlandscastle.com
