Hello village!
We feel barely into 2024 and Half Term is already upon us next week, with Lent and Easter following hard on its heels! All a bit earlier than some years.
LITTLE FISHES HALF TERM Just to remind any families with pre schoolers that LITTLE FISHES the toddler group which meets in the church centre on Mondays 9-11 only meets in term time, so will not be open on Monday 12th Feb. LITTLE FISHES should be back Feb 19th despite it being an inset day in school. Older siblings are welcome too on inset days although the activities are aimed at pre schoolers.
Other things coming up at St John’s are
Feb 14th at 7pm ASH WEDNESDAY Service in church.
LENT COURSE runs 7.30-9 pm for 5 Monday evenings starting Monday 19th February. Hot cuppas from 7.15. No charge! Short films and discussions around tables. All welcome! This is not just for regular attenders… it is open to anyone.
PASTORAL CARE We now have a dedicated email address for anyone feeling a need for a listening ear, a prayer, a visit, or maybe something more practical…? We are here to serve you if we can… just let us know if you’d like some support and someone will get in touch.
