Southern Water is currently consulting on its Hampshire Water Transfer and Water Recycling Project. You are encouraged to consider the issues and respond accordingly. The deadline for responses is 23 July 2024. The scheme would involve adding purified recycled water to the new Havant Thicket Reservoir, which is currently be built by Portsmouth Water’s contractors. For more information, see this link: www.HampshireWTWRP.co.uk<www.HampshireWTWRP.co.uk> Southern Water is holding several Consultation events, the next being at the Meridian Shopping Centre, Havant on Saturday 15 June from 10am until 4pm. The Parish Council will be considering its own response at its next meeting on 15 July 2024.
