Thank you very much to all who have contributed to the production of the RC Parish Neighbourhood Plan, and to all who participated in yesterday’s Referendum. For the question: ‘Do you want East Hampshire District Council and the South Downs National Park Authority to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Rowlands Castle to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’ the result of the Referendum declared by EHDC was:
YES 593 NO 22
The turnout was 23.5%
This result means that the Plan will now go to EHDC and SDNPA to be made (adopted) as part of the Local Development Plan applicable to all future land development in the Parish. The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group very much appreciates all the support and assistance provided in producing this Plan.
