This is a reminder that our February meeting will take place this coming Tuesday, 20th February at 7:30pm in the large Parish Hall. The talk will be given by Tim Cowin and is entitled “The Sussex Iron Industry”. Tim will reveal the role that the Sussex Weald played as the centre of Britain’s early iron industry when iron production relied on forests of oak rather than coal.
Attendance will, as usual, be free of charge to members. Non-member guests are very welcome, entry £5.
