This is a reminder that our November talk will be held TONIGHT, Tuesday 21st November at 7:30pm in the large Parish Hall.
The talk will be given by local historian Jon Arnold and is entitled “The Palmerston Forts – Success or Folly?” Jon will describe Portsmouth’s Victorian fortifications and will be telling us about their origins and about the resulting controversy.
Attendance will be free of charge to members and non-member guests are very  welcome, entry £5.
