This is a friendly reminder that the deadline for submissions to the autumn Village & Valley magazine is the 18th October.
If you would like to contribute an article or a photograph to the village magazine please read and follow the guidelines below:
IF YOU WISH TO SUBMIT AN ARTICLE Contributions should be 250 – 300 words, which is sufficient for one page (plus a photograph). Contributions from Local, District and County Council are excluded from this word-count. Please send your copy as a ‘Word’ file or simply paste the text into an email. Please send any photos to accompany your article as ’email attachments’. Please DO NOT paste your photos into a WORD doc.
IF YOU WISH TO SUBMIT A PHOTOGRAPH Please DO NOT paste your photos into a Word doc. If you do, Word will immediately reduce your wonderful image to something of extremely low quality and totally unsuitable for print. Please send your photos as ’email attachments’. Preferred file size: 2MB to 10MB
