Thursday 26th October marks the launch of the 2023 Royal British Legion Poppy Season. From tomorrow Poppies will be available from just about every retail, commercial and service outlet in the village. For the first time payment can be made at every outlet using the newly introduced QR Code system, look for the code on the collecting tray, payments by credit card can also be made at the Castle Inn.

The street collection outside the Londis Store will begin from Saturday 4th November, the familiar stall will include a comprehensive range of RBL material and be capable of receiving payment by cash, cheque, card reader and QR Code methods.
