Are you interested in trains? Many people are, in different ways; railway history, locomotives and rolling stock, architecture, walking old railway lines, social history- there are so many aspects to railways! The British love affair with metal wheels on metal tracks goes back over 200 years, hence next year’s Rail 200 celebrations.
Would you like to be part of a rail interest group? I’m exploring the possibility of a group based in Rowlands Castle, and already have several interested people from the u3a and R C History and Heritage. But are there other people in Rowlands Castle who would like to be part of a rail group?
