Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered and opened their gardens for the Rowlands Castle Open Gardens last Sunday. It was a huge success. We raised £4901 for CASK Research and sold over 450 tickets (we lost count in the end). A huge thank you to Home Hardware who, as well as sponsoring us, sold 456 tickets and were inundated on the day. We have also had feedback from local businesses that it was one of their busiest days ever.
Following the success we hope that this will become a biannual event. We were overwhelmed by the support of the village for this new charity initiative. We feel very fortunate to live here.
