Curtain Up! Productions are a friendly, award-winning amateur theatre group who meet on Tuesday evenings in St John´s hall on Redhill Road. We perform a diverse selection of musicals, comedies and concerts. We also hold fund-raising events including Murder Mystery Evenings and quiz nights. From March 22nd – 24th we are staging a spring pantomime by our own Director, Ian Clark.
The first read through of the panto script is being held at 7:45pm on Tuesday 12th December, new faces are very welcome, why not come along and find out whether there is a part that you might like?
We welcome members over the age of 16. We aren’t just looking for people to perform on-stage – we are always keen to welcome people with technical skills such as lighting, sound or stage management. Be creative by painting scenery, making props or organising the costumes for a show. Whatever your skills, we’d love to meet you.
