The RCA and History and Heritage groups have been contacted by the UK branch of the Jewish American Society for Historic Preservation. They wondered if anybody knew of Eric Kennedy, who lived in the village after the war? He was actually an Austrian, Erich Johannes Kohn, and fought with the British army in the SAS in Italy, settling here and becoming a British citizen in 1947. He lived at Wellsworth Farm.
