With the school year now finished, on behalf of the PTA team at St John’s Primary School, we just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all your support over the past year.
We’ve had a blast putting on some cracking events for the village community, which included the Barn Dance, Scarecrow Trail, Posh Pie & Quiz, Easter Hunt and Summer Fair, raising a good wedge of cash in the process.
Between Sept ’22 – July ’23, we raised a fantastic £10,237 plus a very generous donation of £2,000 from the R.C.A (Rowlands Castle Association).
It’s been great to see it being spent on activities and equipment that all enhance the children’s educational experience whilst at St John’s. Here are just a few of the things some of funds got spent on….
* 15 iPads, cases & storage trolley * Christmas pantomime * Contribution toward the Year 6 week residential to Fairthorne Manor * SATs breakfast and end of SATs trip * Playground game markings
Have a lovely summer and see you in the Autumn with this year’s Village Barn Dance and Scarecrow Trail (tickets and entries now open by the way 😉!)
