Armed Forces Day Saturday 29th June

Please join us on the Village Green at 10:45 hrs on Saturday 29th June and participate in a short service of Remembrance to celebrate Armed Forces Day. A day when we acknowledge the debt we owe to past and present Members of the Armed Services. The Union Flag will be raised and lowered, the Last Post will be played and a two minutes silence will be observed to remember those who have paid the greatest sacrifice and also those whose lives have been changed by injuries. Music for the occasion will be performed by the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Army Cadet Band. There will be a limited number of official Royal British Legion lapel pins commemorating D-Day available for a donation.

We look forward to your support for our Armed Forces in these troubled times.
