A quick reminder that we shall be marking Armed Forces day at 10:45 on Saturday 24th June, on the village green, the weather is set to be fine. Put the date in your diary and plan to support the short service to honour our Armed Forces, the event will include an address by a senior serving officer, the lowering and raising of the Union Flag followed by the Last Post and the playing of the National Anthem. The music will be provided by the local Army cadet Force. If you are serving, be proud to wear your uniform, if you are a veteran or the relative of a veteran wear your medals with pride. Let us send a real message of support to dedicated service personnel.
