‘Tis The Season to be Jolly’

Or Peace on Earth, Good will to all? Christmas is different things to different people? but despite our different experiences, Jesus is the reason for the season!
Little Fishes Toddler Group finished on a high with a simple Nativity Play in lieu of the usual story time, a birthday cake for baby Jesus and other festive extras.
There will be no more Little Fishes until January 6th 2025, when we look forward to seeing pre schooler families 9am – 11am for play, crafts, stories, snacks, singing and a warm welcome to all each Monday of term time in the Church Centre. See you next year!
Things are a bit low key at St John’s with the Interregnum, but we have the following services on
Sunday 22nd and 29th at 8 am and 10 am
2pm Carol Service on The Green with live music from Blendworth Brass band (thanks RCA!)
Christmas Eve 11pm Holy Communion
CHRISTMAS DAY 10 am Family Communion
January 6th No 8 am, but an All Age Family Service at 10 am.
One more date for your diaries: Rev Clare Challis is to be licensed Feb 24th 2025 at St John’s. You will all be very welcome.
We look forward to welcoming you and your Christmas guests at any or all of these services, and wish you all the peace and joy of the Saviour’s love.
