COMPTON FILM CLUB
Thank you to everyone who joined us this year for an global mix of films, ranging across genres. We travelled from the Yorkshire Dales (Emily) to Madrid (Women on the Edge of a Nervous Breakdown), from Bhutan (Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom) to Berwick-upon-Tweed (The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry) and have enjoyed the elegance of Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn in Paris, and the romance [against all odds] of Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine in New York.
We’ve had to cancel our 12th December showing due to date clashes and the time of year, but we will be back in January with an exciting new line-up of films.
Come and join us in 2024 and support your local community cinema!
